Penny Trade

To trade a fairly common Neopet for a very slightly rarer pet that you have no intention of keeping, then immediately try to repeat the process with that pet. The eventual goal is to obtain a very rare Neopet by means of a long string of trades. It is considered very bad etiquette not to be upfront about doing this.

Abbreviation for the phrase 'Real Name'. Refers to a pet name that is also used as a name for humans in the real world. It's generally understood that a name has to be widespread in real life in order to be an RN-- in other words, if you happen to name your newborn daughter Peppersqueaks, that doesn't mean you can claim it to be RN on Neopets. Examples might include 'Jasmine', 'Amadeus' or 'Fabio'.
